Happy Birthday Max !!!

A quick blog post in praise of Max. How lucky we are to have such an adventurous son, who comes with us exploring places. You are such a nice companion, with a great sense of humour, able of thoughtful discussions  and you are truly a tough cockie, whether steep mountains, long hot days, thick traffic or dusty roads, you take it all without complaining (You really live the sentence “learning to suffer, without to whinge”)

And how great it was that the beloved Rorshies came to celebrate your 11^th birthday. Khao Sok provided the perfect back trop. We went swimming and hiking and visited a cool organic farm, we went for an overnight trip onto the lake, slept in a floating little hut, saw Gibbons and Bisons, did some more swimming and kajaking. We ate and drank a lot and you even got a birthday song from a super-nice Polish family.

Thanks for the good times and store all that energy, because we have not told you the truth about the gradients of the mountains passes in Oman, yet.
